HERITAGE & UPDATE_Inspired by the figure Compiler, KNSTFGR_2 introduces Schlemmer's gestures into the performance and imitates the audience's behaviour. KNSTFGR_2 makes the phenomenon of the follower tangible in one appearance. The audience can program its movements by becoming an actor itself and giving gestures as input for KNSTFGR_2 to mirror. Two performers embody the figure, following the same program, albeit seldomly synchronized.

COSTUME_The costume consists of a golden, tight overall and a semitransparent plastic jacket. LED-stripes are sewn into one sleeve of the jacket. The costume is associated with the inner life of computer chips or other electronic devices that consist of metallic compounds, e.g. gold, copper or platinum, which are then packed in silicon or plastic.

COMMANDS
function run_2()
{If the program starts, KNSTFGR_2 runs upright, linear and in normal speed; Change of direction is only possible in a 45° or 90°- angle;}

function echo()
{If KNSTFGR_2 encounters an animated object, KNSTFG_2 imitates its gestures, facial expression and movements for the duration of approx. 10 seconds; consequently run_2() is executed;}

function randomGesture()
{If run_2() is not possible and echo() is not executed, KNSTFGR_2 falls back to its basic program and shows a random gesture out of the arraySchlemmergesten;}
